If you don’t have a lot of time for a makeup routine or if you are looking for an effortlessly pretty or natural look then you may want to check out Joe Fresh Cosmetics. The brand’s philosophy is all about quick and easy beauty: The Five-Minute Face.
I’ve written an article over on Influenster which you can find here to learn more about the Five-Minute Face routine. While researching this brand, I came across a few really nice products that I thought were worth highlighting on the blog. Continue reading
This has quickly become one of my favourite products. I’m always on the look out for something that blurs pores and gives you that really smooth skin finish but also doesn’t look like you are wearing any kind of base. Kind of like a real life Instagram filter. Continue reading
Festival season is in full swing and I’m slightly jealous of all you lucky ducks who are going to Governor’s Ball, Osheaga, Lollapalooza, WayHome etc. My festival days are
over on hold…..I mean I’d like to think that I’m the cool parent who brings their cute baby with the tiny ear muffs to a music festival but who am I kidding? I can barely look after myself for a weekend in a crowded place with the hot sun beating down, let alone a baby. Continue reading

Has anyone been to The Bay’s beauty counter lately? They’ve really revamped the brands and refreshed their look and I’ve been loving the shopping experience especially at the Beauty Underground section at the Queen Street store. Check out how cool it looks
I have to say that initially this wasn’t the easiest product to work with. I tried applying directly to my eyelids and blending with my finger and it was difficult to get a nice smooth blend. The product also dries fairly quickly so you need to work fast however once set, it definitely lasts all day. Continue reading
This one is a total game changer! Let’s start with the packaging – pure genius. I’ve tried dry shampoos before that come in a little container and you pour the powder into your hand and then massage into your roots. It always ends in a big white powdery mess everywhere. There’s never been an efficient way to apply this style of dry shampoo…..until now. This one actually has a small nozzle that you point towards the roots of your hair and then gently squeeze. It doesn’t dispense too much but just the right amount. You then leave it for a couple of minutes before brushing through. Continue reading
